Family Honors Virginia Tech Shooting Victim Nicole White

McGeehan Family WEBThe McGeehan Family honored Virginia Tech shooting victim Nicole Regina White by planting a blooming crabapple tree on Saturday at Animal Haven’s Adoption Center.

According to Virginia Tech’s remembrance website, Nicole Regina White was a junior at Virginia Tech, majoring in international studies with a minor in political science.

Nicole was described as a giving person who was an active volunteer at both her local animal shelter and the battered women’s shelter.

White’s aunt, uncle and family wanted to recognize her passion for animals by honoring her life with the Animal Haven remembrance tree.

The tree will provide joy and shade at Animal Haven for many years to come – thank you!
